AS of Dec. 2008, the latest firmware Version is 1.0 Build 2000 for the MemoryKick MediaCenter

To download and install the firmware update, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Print this page for firmware installation reference.

Step 2: Download the Zip file that contains the three files required to perform the firmware update. Be sure Pop-Up blockers are turned off before downloading file. When prompted, select "SAVE" file to continue file downloading.

Step 3: Extract the three firmware Zipped files using WinZip. You can download the 30 day trial version of WinZip free if you do not own Winzip, OR click here to visit the WinZip download page.

Step 4: Plug in your MediaCenter to the AC wall adaptor to prevent loss of power while performing the firmware update. Turn on your Mediacenter and connect the MediaCenter to your PC using the USB cord included with your MediaCenter. Your PC should display the drive letter assigned to the MediaCenter as a Mass Storage Device.

Step 5: Copy the three MediaCenter Firmware Files to the Root directory (top level) of the MediaCenter.

Step 6: Disconnect the MediaCenter from your PC and use a small pin to press the reset button located in the small recessed hole located just above the "Power/ Home" switch on the right side of the MediaCenter. This will cause the MediaCenter to reset and turn off.

Step 7: Turn on your MediaCenter with the "Power/Home" switch and the MediaCenter will begin loading and installing the firmware update automatically. After the first update is complete, please press the "Reset Button" again as described in Step 6 to complete firmware installation.

Your MediaCenter is now updated and ready to use.
