The “Pro” modifications will not void your Nikon Warranty. Since Isaac is a Nikon trained, master technician that has enjoyed a 30 year relationship with Nikon, your new product warranty is not affected except the “shutter” itself. Since Isaac does modify the shutter to increase performance and life expectancy, your modified shutter is the only item excluded by Nikon. Since your “Pro” modification provides its own “shutter’ warranty from Southern Photo, your camera is still fully covered and the shutter warranty is a greater value than your 1 year manufacture warranty provides.
Southern photo Technical Service will provide a 800,000 actuation warranty against shutter failure. This warranty does not cover damage caused by water, sand, tampering or mishandling by the user.
This disclaimer by Southern Photo is the same as your new product warranty from Nikon.
